"Jun 2024 Dr. Rufner performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy on me this month. I greatly appreciate his diligence in determining the cause of my symptoms and offering expert health recommendations. In my opinion, he's an awesome doctor. I feel confident trusting his diagnosis and course of treatment. He's thorough and takes time to explain his diagnosis and treatment options. He never gives me the rush-act. He's caring and compassionate. I highly recommend Dr. Rufner for your gastroenterology needs. Oct 2023 Dr Rufner is excellent! I love how he drew a picture of what was going on. He knew what the problem without ever physically examining me. This doctor really knows his stuff! "Colonoscopy: If you need to have one, Dr Rufner in Lowry is the GI doc to see. Dr Rufner teams with experienced anesthesiologist and nurses. He was one of Dr Mallory, retired GI who taught gastroenterology at UC medical school to this generation of doctors. Would recommend using zinc oxide/ diaper rash ointment BEFORE drinking bowel prep. Takes 72 hours to rebuild your microbiome."

"Prep routine was the worst part - surflava tasted terrible and had a slimy texture - gag index was high - left me feeling queasy. Procedure was easy, check-in was efficient, all my concerns were addressed, and everything was fully explained. Some of the staff didn't seem to have much of a sense of humor. Being a repeat 'customer' I feel that the overall quality of the treatment has remained consistently high."

"Procedure was professional. But even tho I followed the prep directions to a T, my system was not fully prepped for the colonoscopy. Therefore, the doctor couldn’t see much of my colon. I continued to have diarrhea for four more days. Also, the first nurse couldn’t insert one, and then two blood ports in my right hand, the second nurse installed a port successfully on my left hand on the first try. It was a difficult day, made more difficult by these near misses."

"Stomach issues are no joke, and I wanted to start this review off by saying that I've gone through six or seven years straight with severe abdominal pain, nausea, sickness, missing school, missing work, doctor appointments, pills, and various diagnoses that have not helped me at all. It's hard to find someone that can help. Then I found Dr. Brenner. When I went into the office for the first time, I was extremely nervous and had little hope for help. The staff was very sweet. But when I met Dr. Brenner for the first time, I was expecting her to be like all of the others. I can officially say that I am now in remission after seven years thanks to her. She examined my previous medical reports without bias and listened to me with understanding. She had told me that there was no proof I had any of the diseases that these other "doctors" were diagnosing me with, that I didn't need to take all kinds of pills, and gave me advice and tips on how to help myself with home remedies with whatever I may be going through (severe abdominal pain for example). I'm now thankfully taking one pill that for sure helps me, but is not required, and I can eat all kinds of food now that I've never been able to eat. Dr. Brenner is sweet, honest, and very caring with her work. I plan to go to see her for as long as I can."

"I have spent plenty of time in doctor's offices and hospitals and unfortunately am only 30. I have genetics that make me very prone to colon cancer, so I met with Dr. Frank and had a colonoscopy done as a result. They found a polyp, removed it and I have a plan moving forward. Overall, with Dr. Frank and everyone in the office, they were extremely pleasant all the way over to the Denver Endoscopy Center. I have had terrible experiences and this was the complete opposite. I had also called another local gastro group and received a different experience. Regarding the poor review below about insurance and costs. I can't remember her name, but a representative of the office reached out to me about my insurance, clearly explained costs, potential for payment options, etc. Since I am young, my insurance didn't off the bat consider this preventative. I had genetic testing done and she was able to detail what I needed to do with the insurance company to get it to be preventative. She even allowed me to merge a call with her and my insurance provider. Couldn't have been happier. Thank you."
