Dr. Jennifer Brenner is a board-certified gastroenterologist. She performs routine GI procedures such as upper endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde pancreatography for the diagnosis, screening and surveillance of gastrointestinal disorders and cancers. In addition, she specializes in Inflammatory Bowel disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Acid Reflux Disease. She has a special interest in women’s health and gastrointestinal care for cancer patients. She is fluent in English and speaks some Spanish. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology?
Gastroenterology has been a passion of mine because of the complex nature of gastrointestinal diseases. I truly enjoy the challenge of diagnosis and I care about each patient that I treat. I think about the patient as if they were my “family.” I feel honored to be able to participate in helping someone get better. Preventing colon cancer, stopping diarrhea or constipation, and improving abdominal pain can truly impact a person’s life and is what keeps me committed to this profession.
Do you have a specialty of interest in Gastroenterology?
I practice as a general Gastroenterologist and enjoy taking care of esophageal, stomach, colon and liver disorders. I like to advocate for colon cancer prevention. I also have a unique interest in women’s issues related to gastrointestinal pathologies.
What do you and your family enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time, my husband and my twin boys love to travel. We love to explore, hike, ski and bike.

My first visit was great. Staff was friendly, Dr.Brenner was super nice and felt like she really listened to my concerns.
My medical situation is very complicated and long-standing. Dr. Brenner was extremely helpful and patient. She was knowledgeable and accepted the fact that I had been dealing with my problems for a very long time had my solutions. I get really good attention and am listened to. When I call with a question, I get a follow up call back. I had labs drown and Dr. Brenner called me herself to tell me that they were normal. Often times a normal result has not been call personally by the treating physician. It is here. I’m impressed and I’ve had IBS for over 30 years now. So, that’s saying a lot
Thanks to Dr Brenner my colonoscopy was amazing! The anesthesiologist was helpful and amazing also! I would recommend this office to anyone that has to have a colonoscopy. The entire staff was 10 Stars if that's a good rating... 20 stars is better! Thank you!

A colonoscopy can be a scary procedure. The staff here are kind, compassionate and professional. I would highly recommend it.
